Blogs are a great place to add your monthly newsletter or meeting mintues. The Secretary or Newsletter Editor can upload the information directly to the site without your help. The Archives issues are automatically linked.

RSS Feeds

RSS feeds

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. Subscribing to an RSS feed will allow you to recieved up to the minute news and information just by clicking on a button. This page above is actually an HTML page containing RSS feeds from EAA, AOPA and AvWeb.

To create your own RSS feeds, go to a feed builder like "Feed to JS:" http://feed2js.org/index.php?s=build. Direction in the site will explain the process.

Adding files to a webpage can easily exceed the quota, especially of free sites. If you have lots of pictures of events that you want to share with your members, using an outside storage site can be an easy solution. Flickr allows you to upload files and share with the public or with select individuals.

You Tube

YouTube is probably one of the most well known video storage sites. In addition to storage, you can copy a URL or embed the video right into your chapter's webpage. The site above was found by searching under aviation. Catuion, since anyone can upload to YouTube, some of the videos may not be family friendly.
